Background

For the Luna Procellarum, my role focused on product photography — capturing AMR Audio's statement power amplifier within a studio environment built around ambient, directional lighting. The brief was to visually translate the amplifier's engineering philosophy of absolute control: the solid copper inner chassis, aerospace-grade aluminium outer shell, and the sheer physical presence of a monoblock built to command real loudspeakers under real conditions. Every frame was composed to let the mass and precision of the build speak for itself, without artificial staging.

Creative Concept: "Command in Stillness" — using restrained studio lighting to convey the Procellarum's core idea of authority through control, letting the multilayer chassis and internal engineering carry the visual weight rather than dramatic styling.

Macro Photography: Close-focus shots on the WBT NexGen silver speaker connectors, capacitor banks, and internal wiring to highlight the density of the power supply architecture.
Studio Lighting: Soft, directional environmental light used to define the multi-layer resonance-controlled chassis, separating the copper inner structure from the aerospace-grade aluminium shell through tonal contrast.
Craftsmanship Documentation: Detail shots of the 4-inch capacitive TFT display and hand-assembled output stage, capturing the precision behind each of the 148 limited units.
Post-Production: Colour-accurate retouching to preserve true material tones — copper, brushed aluminium, and matte black — keeping the amplifier's physical authority intact without over-processing.
